Summer camp is an essential part of the Scouting experience—a week-long adventure filled with growth, excitement, and unforgettable memories. It gives Scouts the chance to develop independence and confidence while learning valuable life skills. Camp is where friendships are built—sharing stories around the campfire, exploring the outdoors, and paddling across the lake.
Throughout the week, Scouts can work on earning merit badges while enjoying a variety of activities. They’ll sharpen their aim with rifle, shotgun, or archery, and dive into waterfront fun like kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding—even a floating lake trampoline! For those seeking extra excitement, camp also offers extreme adventures such as rappelling and ziplining. For our Scouts attending summer camp for the first time they have a Pathfinder program that focuses on Tenderfoot and Second Class Advacement as well as core skills like those earned through Totin' Chip. Totin Chip is where Scouts learn to safely handle and use pocket knifes and saws. Pathfinder also works on team building skills with all of the Scouts.
Most Scouts earn the majority of their merit badges during summer camp, making it a cornerstone of their Scouting journey. In 2025 our Scouts collectively earned 93 Merit Badges at summer camp!
We strongly encourage ALL of our scouts to attend summer camp each year!
Summer Camp essential information can be found below. We have a packing list, list of tentative merit badges, medical forms, and swim forms! A swim test is needed for any Scout who plans on entering the pool or lake. More information about swim test will be given out closer to the start of camp.
